I'm back! And just in time for one final post of the year before 2013 arrives at midnight. It is really hard to comprehend that another whole year (another whole year!) has already come and gone. The older I get the more quickly times seems to pass, which makes me wonder what the passage of time will be like if I make it to a grandmotherly age... does it continue to feel like it's speeding up or at some point do the years start dragging? I suspect maybe it's different for every person, but as for this person (right now, anyways), she's just wondering where all the time went.
But no more on how times flies, since that topic is about as interesting as talking about the weather (speaking of which, SNOW!!!! ♥ On the ground! More than just a dusting! And it seems to be sticking around, huzzah!!). Instead, I will leave you with some inspiring words from Isaiah, a fitting note on which to end this year and begin a new one.
“This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43: 16, 18-19)
Happy New Year, my lovelies! I hope and pray that it is a blessed one for you all, full of joy and peace.
K xx
